I was voted Most Unique in high school. A silly fact but I think it’s remained true. I don’t really like the norm or small talk. I like big conversations and noticing connections of the universe. I like color, texture, and art. I like people who marry for love. I like noticing that love. The way it moves, the way it holds hands or pokes fun.

I grew up on a farm with lots of greenhouses, here, in Maryland. My dad grew flowers and taught my sister and I how to be gentle to their roots. My dad has now passed away and it’s completely changed who I am and the way I see the world. I take people seriously and photographs of their loved ones the same.

I’m an alumni photo major from Fashion Institute of Technology. I wanted to be the next Annie Leibovitz. Dad pushed me to follow my dreams. I did the whole fashion in New York thing for a few years but I found out it wasn’t who I really am. Being fancy for the sake of being fancy. I still incorporate fashion in the work I produce but a lot of it has purpose. I think weddings still give me a nice dose of glitz and glamour. I believe in creating a well rounded portfolio for my clients. Like a mixed collage of film, digital, people, things, feelings, places, moments.

Mary has been working with me since 2023. She’s also knows the importance of people. We share a similar talent for observing the little things between relationships or the way the light glimmers on a sunny wedding day and I couldn’t be more lucky to have her working with me.

LEAD PHOTOGRAPHER

I started taking photos of people over fifteen years ago and am passionate about social justice and equal representation in the wedding industry. If you’re looking for calm in the storm of wedding day chaos or a fun, carefree, and casual portrait session, let’s talk.

I focus heavily on the natural moments—the unposed smiles, glances, and movements—gathering inspiration from old classic portraiture and documentary work from the original photography masters, prioritizing traditional or natural lighting, gentle posing guidance, and simple backdrops. These elements help me create timeless, romantic images that tell your story, and will continue for decades. You don’t need 20 different poses under your wedding arch, because I already captured you laughing and crying during your actual ceremony. I’m making your heirlooms and creating art. Having spent my formal photography education years shooting with film, but working with digital for over a decade, I possess a uniquely fine art gaze as I mirror your precious moments back to you.

I frequently have wedding guests come up to me to tell me how much I smile while I’m taking photos and I love getting to tell them it’s because I’m genuinely having a good time.
