Congratulations on your engagement and thank you so much for reaching out to me! I enjoyed reading your inquiry and I’m super excited to chat further about possibly being your wedding photographer.

  1. Hi! I’m Emily!

    I live in Frederick, Maryland with my pug slash shitszu slash monster thing and my artist boyfriend (he does murals, I’m bragging, I know). I’m a full time wedding photographer and I specialize in candid storytelling. I love working closely with my clients to get to know them and get the most honest photographs of them. I like to be helpful during wedding planning to ensure awesome photos and also be super goofy with my clients in order to get them comfortable with me.
    During the wedding day you might hear me call your mom “mom,” cry during your ceremony or cut a rug on the dance floor. This is how I get my ‘non-posed’ photographs. I become a part of the day rather than being a fly on the wall.

  4. Some price options for them

    The best bang for your buck is the full shabang, 6000 package, but the 4800 with an additional engagement session is just as wonderful for a traditional wedding.

  5. If you’re digging what I’m offering, here’s how to book!

    After our phone call, I’ll send you a contract proposal. Don’t sign this one until you’re ready to move forward with me. I’ll have FAQs on the contract and my fave vendors too with your contract proposal. If you’re ready to book, shoot me an ‘ay ok’ email and I’ll send you to my client portal to sign your contract and send the $1,500 deposit.

  6. After booking….

    I’ll keep in touch with ya and please keep me in the loop on your plans. I like to help out with any lighting situations for your getting ready, ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. Also ask any questions that pop up! I’m happy to help with vendor suggestions and your timeline. Yes, your timeline is super important to me so we can jam pack it with beautiful moments.

    If you’re booking an engagement session, we’ll start discussing plans for that as well. I have a whole style guide that I’’ll send. I like to help prepare you for the best possible images.

    As we get closer to your wedding date, I’ll send you an invoice for your remaining balance and we’ll finalize your photography timeline.

  7. After the wedding….

    I’ll send some sneak peak photos the week of your wedding and your full gallery will be sent no later than 3 months after your wedding date. You’ll receive your photos on your own private online gallery for downloading, ordering prints, sharing and staring favorites. You’ll also get a little gift from me that includes your USB.

+ HOW DO WE GET THE PHOTOS?

You'll receive an online gallery that is password protected. You can download, order prints, star favorites, and share with your loved ones directly from the gallery. You'll also get a lovely little USB in the mail.

+ WHEN DO WE GET OUR WEDDING PHOTOS?

I'll send 'sneak-peaks' within a week after your wedding and the full gallery in about 3 months. 3 is the 'due date' but I work super hard to get all of your photos (and album if included) to you ASAP.

Engagement photos will be sent 2 weeks after our session.

+ HOW MANY PHOTOS ARE WE GETTIN'?

You'll receive an average of 600 photos (depending on how many hours you have me). More photos for more hours of course. Engagement sessions are an average of 70.

+ WILL ALL OF THE PHOTOS BE EDITED?

Fo sho! Every photo is 'print ready.' They'll be edited for exposure, contrast, sharpness, and color tone.

Album photos are edited for blemishes, textures, & distracting elements (such as light switches, exit signs etc.)

+ CAN WE UPGRADE A COLLECTION AFTER BOOKING?

You can add on an albums, a second photographer, an engagement session, and more hours anytime before the final balance is paid in full.

+ WHO IS YOUR SECOND PHOTOGRAPHER?

I have a handful of awesome photographers that I'm super close with. They are all professional photographers, and I refer to them as my "work wives."

+ WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED? DO YOU TRAVEL?

From Maryland, will travel! I have a wedding in Serbia, New York, and Austria coming up! Reach out for travel info.

+ HOW DO WE BOOK WITH YOU?

First of all, YAY! Email me at egudephoto@gmail.com and I’ll send you an online contract. The signed contract and a non-refundable retainer fee of $1,500 are required to secure your date with me.
